Now I remember one of my first blog post said something to the effect of 'Bring the Rain' (which I figured out is a quote from transformers asking for a air strike.) But it started raining 40 hours ago and it hasn't stopped.
So much that the roads to the blocks are not worth risking to drive down, so we have a forced day off.
So much that the dry creek bed on the way to our tents is full
So much that people with cheap tents or bad spots got flooded.
So much that the bridge on said creek bed is underwater
So much that it made the fallen log I tried to cross on last night so slippery that I fell of and got to wade through a stream nearly up to my waist.
So much that I have new respect for the dudes in Lord of the Rings that had to wade across streams on their journey because well it sucks.

hey we're 2 peas in a pod! wow,nobody says that anymore, but anyway, i know that you've seen the pictures of me walking on a log, and then falling into the lake. Mom laughed at me, and Dad took pictures. But that would be expected from our parents. But i didn't have to wade through a stream, your on your own there.
we've been having rain too, but it's not that bad, just depressing weather.
Can't wait to see you when i come home. Mom thinks we'll be coming home around the same time. oh well.
